How to use DeadLockLane

Three steps, about 20 seconds. No login, no install.

  1. Pause the game. Open the scoreboard — press Tab so both teams and their heroes are on screen.
  2. Take a screenshot of the paused scoreboard. Press PrtScn, or Win+Shift+S to snip — capture the strip with all 12 heroes — cropping to just the hero-name row works best, like this:

    Any of these work — but Example 2 gives the most accurate read (it’s exactly the hero-name row DeadLockLane scans):

    Example 1 — full paused scoreboard with hero portraits and names

    Example 2 — recommended. A tight crop of just the hero-name row. This gives the most accurate read because it’s exactly the row DeadLockLane scans — just make sure all 12 names are clear.

    Example 3 — the player-names + hero-names strip (e.g. the Tab scoreboard). Also works.
  3. Upload it. On the home page, drop or paste the screenshot (or click to upload). DeadLockLane reads the 12 heroes and instantly shows your best lane setup — who to lane against whom, win %, and which heroes to swap.

Can't read a name from the screenshot? No problem — it opens the editor with the rest filled in, and you finish in a click. You can also skip screenshots and pick heroes by hand on the Manual page.
